COMMENTS FROM YOUR FELLOW AGENTS/MANAGERS

The exciting part of the contest is the “reach down” to other agents who truly worked to earn a spot – who truly competed. With these lottery slots available, it’s important everyone strives for their applications. First, help clients. Serve the people you signed up to serve. Do it to your best ability. Shoot for your excellence. Second, fortunately for some, is that in the process of doing this, you’ll achieve great things, help many people, set a new level of excellence and personal standard, and maybe fall short, yet still be lifted up by a colleague. Encourage yourself to compete but those around you as well!

I’ve heard Michael Mitzen say many times, “It’s not about the reward at that end. That’s not the important thing. It’s who you become on the way there.”

Wow, week 8 of Presidents Club already. By my calculation, that means almost 20 percent of the 43-week contest is done.

For those of you committed to winning, but not in the position you need to be, the good news is there is still 80 percent left. The time to turn up the intensity is now, while time is on your side.

I’ll see all you intense people at Hilton Head!

I recall my first President’s Club experience. I was nervous. Could I compete? Kamran Zoghi told me that competing was the only way to grow. Winning wasn’t the reward; it was the competition that drove us to get better. Well, that, and the fact that his goal was to beat me. 😂

I also remember arriving at the Club. On the first day, I realized that everyone was the same. Regular people from all walks of life. No one was special, and we were a family, a team. The group of winners all had clear goals and a strong work ethic, and they followed a well-defined system.

A proud moment of a huge accomplishment within yourself to be a winner of the President’s Club. A feeling that you can overcome and conquer any obstacles that come your way, and know that with GOD, all things are possible!

We have to train our mind to be a leader, not a follower! We need to train our mind to be a winner not a quitter!

A President’s Club Competition gives the extra ambition and oomph we all need to help build camaraderie amongst a nation of outstanding Agents! It reminds us of our purpose to help others with their insurance needs while allowing us to encourage our fellow colleagues to excel in their personal goals and dreams.
